Dan Hildebrand Owner and Builder

Originally from North London, Dan first traveled around the US at age 19, hitch-hiking and busing his way across the country. He returned to the UK and became a successful actor but returned periodically to work in Hollywood.

In 1991 he moved to the US permanently and has since combined his passions - acting, design and construction.

In 2002 he attended the Monolithic Institute workshop for the first of three certifications. His dome construction work has seen him oversee multiple projects in Australia, Indonesia, Vanuatu, and many of the US states.  His work in raising the funds and constructing a large orphanage in Haiti as well as other philanthropic work led to him receiving the Social Impact award in Los Angeles in December 2013.

HDomes are actively involved in bringing new products and innovative construction methodologies to the task of combating the world wide need for urban redevelopment and the evolution of housing in the 21st century.

Dan believes equally in the importance of building performance as well as design aesthetics,  and welcomes any and all contributions and suggestions that further the development of the future of housing and community buildings.
